Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use TerraMonIL. This page explains what we have done to make this site accessible, what is not there yet, and how to tell us about a problem.

1. Our commitment

TerraMonIL is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We work towards Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the international WCAG guidelines at level AA.

2. What has been done

The site has been reviewed and the following are in place:

All text meets or exceeds the AA contrast requirement against its background. Most of the site is well above the minimum
The whole site can be operated with a keyboard, and a clear focus outline shows where you are
A "skip to content" link lets you jump past the header
Page structure uses real headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate it
Controls are real buttons and links, not clickable images or decorative elements
The site is available in Hebrew and English, and the page language and text direction change with it, so screen readers read it correctly
If your system is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off automatically
The scrolling news ticker pauses when you hover over it or move focus into it
The layout works on phones and adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels

3. What is not accessible yet

We would rather be honest than claim more than we have done. These are known gaps:

Some small labels use a pixel-style font that is harder to read than ordinary text
The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader by a person who relies on one daily
The TerraMonIL Launcher application has not been audited for accessibility
Content on our Discord server is governed by Discord's own accessibility, not ours

We fix these as we find them, and reports from users go to the front of the queue.

4. Accessibility exemption

Under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations, a business whose annual turnover is below the threshold set in the regulations is not required to carry out full accessibility adaptation, but is required to publish an accessibility statement. TerraMonIL currently falls under that threshold. We have chosen to carry out the adaptations listed above regardless, and we will complete full compliance as the project grows.

אנו רוצים שכולם יוכלו להשתמש ב-TerraMonIL. עמוד זה מסביר מה עשינו כדי להנגיש את האתר, מה עדיין חסר, וכיצד ניתן לדווח לנו על בעיה.

1. המחויבות שלנו

TerraMonIL מחויבת להנגיש את אתר האינטרנט שלה לציבור הרחב, לרבות אנשים עם מוגבלות. אנו פועלים בהתאם לתקן הישראלי ת"י 5568, המבוסס על הנחיות WCAG הבינלאומיות ברמת AA.

2. מה בוצע באתר

האתר נבדק, והתאמות הנגישות הבאות קיימות בו:

כל הטקסטים עומדים בדרישת הניגודיות ברמה AA מול הרקע שעליו הם מופיעים, ורובם אף מעבר לכך
ניתן להפעיל את כל האתר באמצעות מקלדת, וסימון מיקוד ברור מציג את מיקומכם
קישור "דילוג לתוכן" מאפשר לדלג מעל הכותרת העליונה
מבנה העמוד עושה שימוש בכותרות ובאזורי תוכן אמיתיים, כך שקוראי מסך יכולים לנווט בו
הפקדים הם כפתורים וקישורים אמיתיים, ולא תמונות או אלמנטים דקורטיביים לחיצים
האתר זמין בעברית ובאנגלית, ושפת העמוד וכיוון הטקסט משתנים בהתאם, כך שקוראי מסך מקריאים אותו נכון
אם המערכת שלכם מוגדרת להפחתת תנועה, ההנפשות מכובות אוטומטית
מחוון החדשות הנע נעצר בעת מעבר עכבר מעליו או כניסת מיקוד אליו
הפריסה מותאמת לטלפונים ולגדלי מסך ורמות הגדלה שונות

3. מה עדיין אינו נגיש

אנו מעדיפים לומר את האמת ולא להציג יותר ממה שביצענו בפועל. אלה הפערים הידועים לנו:

חלק מהתוויות הקטנות משתמשות בגופן בסגנון פיקסלים, שקריאתו קשה מטקסט רגיל
האתר טרם נבדק עם קורא מסך על ידי אדם המשתמש בו ביום-יום
אפליקציית TerraMonIL Launcher טרם עברה בדיקת נגישות
התוכן בשרת הדיסקורד שלנו כפוף לנגישות של Discord ולא שלנו

אנו מתקנים ליקויים אלה ככל שהם מתגלים, ופניות מגולשים מקבלות עדיפות.

4. פטור מהנגשה

על פי תקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), עסק שמחזורו השנתי נמוך מהסף הקבוע בתקנות אינו חייב בביצוע התאמות נגישות מלאות, אך כן חייב בפרסום הצהרת נגישות. TerraMonIL נמצאת כיום מתחת לסף זה. בחרנו לבצע את ההתאמות המפורטות לעיל על אף הפטור, ונשלים עמידה מלאה בדרישות ככל שהפרויקט יגדל.
